Shopping, Shopping and More Shopping

Good thing I'm not buying anything.....YET!

This place is insane for shopping. It's EVERYWHERE!

Seeing as I don't want to go see any Buddha's....Temples...or Palaces....all I can really do is walk around.

From my experience, the Asian world is made up of the 'brand' shoppers.....they only buy the best and the most expensive..........or the 'knock off' shoppers.....they only buy cheap stuff but with the brand name on it.

Thailand is by far in the 'knock off' category......and it's really really good knock off stuff!

Unfortunately there is no fashion sense here. Foot wear is from the 70's....or for sex workers. Clothing is all one size.....and that size fits tiny tiny people.....even our Western size 0 is large to them.

You can find stuff that 'Westerners' would like........but usually much cheaper versions. One wash and it melts away.

I plan to purchase loads of movies..........going rate is $3.00 per DVD. Some will work and some won't.........but it's worth the chance!

I might also pick up a pile of books...some of the photocoping is pretty clear.

You've got to love the business sense here!
