Welcome to the Jungle

Our tour spent 2 nights and 3 days in the jungle...Northern Thailand......with some of the Hilltribe people.

On our first day we hiked for a little over 1 hour....very hilly.....but not too tough. We slept in one big hut on bamboo with sleeping bags. No mats. It was SUPER COLD. I thought I would be frozen in the morning. None of us got any sleep.

On the second day we hiked for over 4 hours. Super big hills. Very tough. We had to carry everything so it made it harder for everyone. It was another cold night and once again we slept in one big hut on bamboo with sleeping bags. This time with very thin sleeping mats.

This was also the night that we were down 4 people. We quarantined them to one side of the room....Both Laurens, Holly and Tim. They spent most of the night throwing up. The upside was us trying to sing and communicate with Shark...one of the Thai guys that helped us on the trek. Talk about lost in translation.

Our guide replacement.....Tip....was amazing. He was up all night helping all the thrower upers.

It was pretty gross the next morning.....all the chickens and pigs were in the throw up eating it. Yuck!

Makes you want to be a vegetarian.
