Economics and Protein

One can sure get a good idea on how expensive a country is by going to McDonalds and using their Big Mac meal as an economic measurement.

McDonalds is just around the corner from my hostel in Split. For 31.50 kunas I can purchase a Big Mac meal (this includes ketchup). A little over $6.00.

I need protein so I had to do the economic testing.

All you see around here is fast food pizza slices or bakery items.

Way too many carbs in this country.
