Belgrade Here I Am

Life is great!

We left Novi Sad on Tuesday morning at 9 am for our 1.5 hr train ride into Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

I`m sharing with Leanne. A very small room. Reminds me of the room I shared with my cousin Pina when we went to Dublin one weekend and stayed at Trinity College.

When we got to Belgrade this afternoon, we went straight to the park and had a picnic.

After lunch we went for a city tour with Nikola. 6 Euros each.

• Average wage here is 330 euros per month. Rent is about 200 euros.

• The local currency is the dinar. You get 80 dinars for one euro.
• 33% unemployment rate

I`m actually very surprised on how cool this place is. Very modern and clean.

It`s tough finding people that speak English yet they still try to help.

Serbia rocks!
