Mi Maestra Carmen

Today was my first class at the school. You have a choice of sitting outside or inside. The tables are small with 2 chairs- one on each side. The outdoor tables are in a nice courtyard. I picked inside today, as I found it a bit chilly and there have been quite a few mosquito around.

I´m paying $85.00 per week for the morning. 4 hours per day. Private tutor. Today was mostly the teacher- Carmen- talking and asking me questions, to try and gather what level I am at. The teachers do not speak English, so we both used our dictionaries quite a bit. Actually, I understood quite a bit, it was my responses I needed a lot of help with.

I think it´s going to work out quite well.

Just before I left, I had breakfast of a fried egg, banana and a mandarin orange. When I got home, I had lunch of chicken, salad, corn and some vegetable I had no idea of. We also had soup- which was super delicious.

Speaking of food, got to go for dinner.
