Toxics and Me

I went for a massage in Varkala the other day.

Ayurvedic massage. 500 rupees for 1 hour.

You get totally naked and herbal oil is massaged into your scalp, your face and then your full body.

It's not really a deep tissue massage...more like a sweeping motion over your body. It was very interesting.

About 2 hours later I get super sick.

Tummy ache and headache. Horrible. It lasted 24 hours.

I'm convinced it was the massage.
